I live in Sha Tin, but I studied in Chai Wan. I used to take the tram from Tai Koo to North Point for tutorial classes.
I still remember the first time I got lost. I thought that the tram was single-track and it would always stop at the same terminus, but I was wrong. That day, I hopped on a tram and after half an hour, I realised I wasn’t in North Point. Then the tram started to make a loop and I saw the race course. I was on the tram to Happy Valley!
Next to the terminus I saw a nicely renovated shophouse and discovered it was a camera museum. I went back to Happy Valley with the tram the next week to visit the museum. As a photographer I loved the collection of vintage cameras. A ‘wrong’ journey actually brought me to the right place!
