Cheung Tze Kun, better known as “Celery” among the colleagues, has been working for Hong Kong Tramways for 10 years. Joining as a Motorman, Cheung was promoted to Regulator 3 years later and became responsible for stops and tram operations. Thanks to his rich frontline experience, Cheung is now an Inspector, scheduling trams at the control room and handling emergency situations.
Despite the thousands of encounters he had on trams, Cheung’s most memorable Ding Ding story dates back to the time when he was still a kid, riding on a tram trailer with his mother.
