With his favourite seat at the very back of the tram, Felix Fung enjoys his daily ride through the neighbourhood of Sheung Wan after work.
“I have always lived in Wong Tai Sin on Kowloon side, so the tram experience for me is very much specific to the uniqueness of Hong Kong Island. I like sitting in the back because it’s more spacious and since I started working in hotel management in Sai Wan, I have started taking the tram as a habit. There is something very local about the tram, it’s also a cheap and a good route. I like looking out the window into the sunset on the top floor of the tram. There’s no better way to see the neighbourhood, is there? I hope they preserve it the way it is.”
