I belong to a community called “Tram Chasers” formed by 10 photographers. One morning, I was taking photos with another member John Yan at the Whitty Street Tram Depot. Meanwhile, there are staff washing tramcars nearby. The shooting was difficult yet exciting.
Imagine yourself carrying shooting tripods and equipment at a cramped pit of just around 33.5in wide, you had to bend your head and avoid all dirty puddles. If you were not careful enough, not just your clothes but also cameras will be suffered.
But thanks to this condition, I was able to capture the moment of tramcar washing from a new angle. Sometimes it was interesting to see reflection of trams from road puddles.
