Having lived in Hong Kong for the past 8 years, Mila Jabonita appreciates how the tram provides the perfect mode of transport for Shek Tong Tsui and now that she has moved here.
“It’s a cheaper way of going to Central and if you have the time, it’s a great ride. I often take it on the weekend. The 2 levels provide a special view of the area if you sit upstairs and give you plenty of fresh air. You can see inside the buildings and behind certain walls.
I take the bus or MTR if I am rushing for work, but the tram is less stressful, it is more open than the MTR or the bus. Also for those who haven’t ever taken the party tram which runs from the start of the line to the end of the line, they should. It’s really fun.”
