In our 4 days here, I and my 2 Taiwanese friends have specifically chosen spots which combine unique features and good food. We stuffed ourselves with the famous egg waffles, then made our way here to North Point wet market where the tram tracks run between the stalls and tight buildings.
In Taiwan we are familiar with this type of market, but definitely not the double-decker tram. There is comfort in the familiarity and of course good food, but having a tram moving through the market, it is like art. Art that you want to capture from everyday life.
My friends wanted to come here for the photographic opportunities and Hong Kong is such a photogenic city. The combination of the landscape with the buildings and the light is truly special, so far we’ve been loving it.
